Below is a list of required equipment, and recommended equipment for the class.

Required Equipment.

  • Quality semi automatic handgun.

  • A kydex holster that has trigger guard coverage. Recommend Tier 1 Concealed or TREX Arms Appendix Holsters, or external holsters like Safariland Retention holsters. No BlackHawk Serpa Holsters, and no pocket holsters.

  • Five magazines with at least 1 magazine holster.

  • 500 Rounds of Ammunition,

  • Eye Protection- Recommended to be purchased from a local firearm or outdoors store. Appropriate for firearms training.

  • Electronic Ear Protection. This is a requirement for safety, making sure students can hear range commands and instructions. Highly recommend “Walkers” brand. Their Razors are good and can be found about anywhere, No Bluetooth required.

Recommended:

  • Clothing -suitable for inclement weather

  • Water and Snacks

  • Sunscreen/bugspray

  • Baseball Cap

  • Note taking material

You may shoot reloaded ammo at your own risk. However, you cannot shoot any green tip or steel penetrating type ammunition in the class. Steel or aluminum-cased ammo is not allowed.
